During every site selection one of the first things I do is source any local events or festivals that we may be able to tie our trip into.  This one worked out perfectly!  We were able to shift our hotel dates so that we could take part in the annual Montreux Jazz Festival - this was a once in a lifetime event that my attendees talk about to this day!

By private chartering a boat to take us from our lakeside hotel, The Beau-Rivage Palace, directly into Montreux for the festival...that was a travel moment I won't even forget!
